Suomen Biovoima has won the delivery of two gas transportation containers to Mustankorkea Oy. Mustankorkea is a municipally owned waste management company operating in Central Finland, which owns and operates a biogas plant and two biogas filling stations in the Jyväskylä area.

Gas transportation containers are type IV composite containers that can be used to transport gas cost-effectively with high capacity and low unladen weight of the containers.

“The containers will be used to transfer gas to a remote gas filling station in the Seppälä area. For the time being, rental containers will be used until we have new containers at our disposal,” says Esko Martikainen, CEO of Mustankorkea Oy.

The upcoming delivery is Biovoima’s second delivery to Mustankorkea. Previously, Biovoima, in cooperation with Carbotech GmbH, has already supplied Mustankorkea with biogas PSA upgrading unit.

“The equipment has worked great and the upgraded biogas is very clean,” Martikainen praises.
