BIOupgrade gas upgrading unit commissioned at Nevel plant

BIOupgrade gas upgrading unit commissioned at Nevel plant

The Biovoiman biogas processing unit has been successfully commissioned and is working well at the Nevel biogas plant in Forssa. The unit has been in biomethane production for two weeks now, producing clean biomethane. The biomethane produced by this BIOupgrade unit will be used in both industrial and commercial applications. The biomethane will be used in Saint-Gobain's Isover glass wool factory and will also be compressed for gas containers for use in other locations.

The BIOupgrade gas processing unit was designed, manufactured and commissioned by Biovoiman in an overall project lasting about a year. Biovoiman BIOupgradeCH4 The gas processing unit is based on membrane technology and is an automated solution that can be monitored and controlled remotely. It enables efficient gas processing to methane concentrations above 99 %. At Nevel's Forssa plant, biogas is produced from biowaste and sewage treatment plant sludge.
