First BIOadapter unit from the new Biovoima factory is ready

Biovoima's new production plant in Jyväskylä started up in the autumn and has completed its first technology product on schedule. The first BIOadapter pressure reduction unit was completed for Hycamite (Hycamite TCD Technologies Oy) in Kokkola.

”We are proud and satisfied with our own production process. The newly completed unit shows that our production facility is working as planned - efficiently, quickly and smoothly,” says Toni Hiltunen, Product and Production Manager of Biovoima.

Hycamite is building a hydrogen production plant in Kokkola. A BIOadapter unit is needed at the plant's gas receiving station to enable the integration of biomethane and natural gas into the plant's production process. The unit will reduce the pressure of the gas to a suitable level during reception, allowing the use of high pressure gas delivered in gas containers for production.
