Biovoima delivered a grid connection container to the customer OÜ EKT Ecobio in Tallinn for the Maardu biogas plant, where the grid connection container was commissioned in April 2023. The grid connection container was delivered by Biovoima Oy Finland. The grid connection container, with a capacity of 400 Nm3/h, is equipped with gas scenting and control automation as well as MID-certified chromatography and flow measurement.
The Biovoima has its own containerised solution for feeding biomethane into the natural gas network - web connection account, which precisely regulates the pressure of the biomethane to be fed into the network to meet the requirements of the network. The grid connection container also enables gas scrubbing and the measurement of the quality and quantity of gas supplied to the grid for commercial use and billing of the grid company.
