Biovoima has completed a BIOadapter pressure reduction unit for Hycamite (Hycamite TCD Technologies Oy) in Kokkola, Finland. This was the first technology product manufactured by Biovoima in its own factory.

Hycamite is building a hydrogen production plant in Kokkola. A BIOadapter unit is needed at the plant's gas receiving station to enable the integration of biomethane and natural gas into the plant's production process. The unit will reduce the pressure of the gas to a suitable level during reception, allowing the use of high pressure gas delivered in gas containers for production.
