Biovoima's new production plant in Jyväskylä started up in the autumn and has completed its first technology product on schedule. The first BIOadapter pressure reduction unit was completed for Hycamite (Hycamite TCD Technologies Oy) in Kokkola.

Hycamite is building a hydrogen production plant in Kokkola. A BIOadapter unit is needed at the plant's gas receiving station to enable the integration of biomethane and natural gas into the plant's production process. The unit will reduce the pressure of the gas to a suitable level during reception, allowing the use of high pressure gas delivered in tanks for production.
