The Voss biomethane plant project is moving forward

Work has started on the construction site of the Voss biomethane plant. In the beautiful Norwegian countryside of Voss, the key players in the project came together. BIR AS, the contractor for the project,
general contractor Biovoima, construction contractor LAB Entreprenør AS (part of AF Gruppen) and teams from major subcontractors joined forces in a joint workshop this week.

The workshop consisted of hard work to clarify the open design interfaces and create a synchronisation plan for the work packages, but also to create team spirit in the form of construction site ”Olympics” and evening activities.

”It's such a great feeling in this project to have everyone working together towards a common goal, sitting on the same side of the table. I can't help but be happy with the way BIR and LAB are used to working; I think it fits our company culture very well too”, says the Project Manager of Biovoima. Tero Kemppi.

Excavation work on the plant started last week and concrete work will begin within a few weeks. Biovoima will start site works with the underground pipelaying of the process in August-September 2024.
