Biovoima's BIOpark gas filling station is a unique total solution with its strengths of technical scalability and cost-effective visual structure. The solution is suitable for both large and small transport biomethane distributors, as well as private fueling station builders.

Their unique design ensures good usability and a position that fits both the eye and the surrounding landscape. The station can be customised to match the customer's colour scheme and logo.

Technical scalability brings significant cost savings in case of expansion

BIOpark will be built with a completely new way of thinking, based on enabling the future business growth and development of the company owning the station in a cost-effective way. When the capacity of the BIOpark gas filling station is selected, the compressor room, piping and valves are designed from the outset so that the capacity can be doubled in the future without replacing the entire structure, as is often the case today. This saves very significant amounts of money, which is hardly reflected in the initial investment.

In addition, BIOpark is already directly licensed (depending on the country) for larger capacities, which generally does not increase the cost of the licensing process during the investment phase of the filling station, but saves up to months of paperwork and associated costs during the expansion phase.

High-quality compressor guarantees technical functionality

At the heart of the gas refuelling station is a reliable gas compressor. At BIOpark stations, this role is played by the compressors of our long-standing partners, manufactured with long experience. 

The capacity of the compressor is selected for each plant according to the capacity needs, but with an initial minimum of 200 Nm3/h. This will allow 5-10 passenger cars to refuel per hour, thus ensuring gas supply also in peak periods at smaller stations. Choosing a smaller gas compressor than this would only bring small cost savings in terms of initial investment. Future increases in refuelling capacity will be made easy and affordable through space and pipeline provision.

A complete solution from gas compression onwards

The gas refuelling stations offered by Biovoima can be delivered as a technology supply or as a turnkey solution. If required, the supply package covers the entire process from gas production, purification, pressurisation and storage to refuelling dispensers, payment machines and installation.

Green and low-cost energy for transport

Biomethane is a cost-efficient and energy-rich fuel. The same amount of energy, and therefore the same number of kilometres travelled by a car, can currently be achieved at around 30 % lower fuel costs than a petrol car. In addition, biomethane is a 100 % renewable and therefore carbon dioxide neutral fuel, and its combustion process is completely particle-free.
